La Quinta in San Antonio was a convenient choice for attending the graduation at Lackland Air Force Base. The location suited my needs perfectly, being just a quick drive to the base. I appreciated the friendly staff who were always ready to help. The beds were comfortable, and I had a good night's sleep. The breakfast offered a decent selection. those Texas-shaped waffles were a fun touch! However, the cleanliness left much to be desired. The bathroom could have used a thorough scrub. I noticed some mildew in the shower and a bit of dust on surfaces. Also, the noise level from outside and adjoining rooms was bothersome at times, making it hard to relax. Overall, there are positives but also noticeable areas to improve regarding maintenance and quietness.

missingWrote a review on 26 Novconvenient locationdecent breakfastcleanliness issues
Close proximity to the Air Force base made it incredibly convenient for family visits, especially during graduations. The breakfast spread had a solid variety, including decent muffins that suited the morning appetite well.
The room cleanliness left much to be desired. I encountered issues with unvacuumed floors and a noticeable damp odor that lingered throughout my stay. Additionally, the shower space was cramped and didn't feel well-maintained, which detracted from any relaxation time I hoped to enjoy. There were also minor inconveniences, like loud guests near the vending machines that made it difficult to get a restful night's sleep. Overall, it didn’t hit the standards I've come to expect from other stays.

Shower too tiny to lather without turning off the water!!! Lack of a suitcase stand, so had to plop my luggage on the floor. Parking situation is a joke—had to park on the opposite side of the complex!!!

The location was super close to Lackland AFB, which made visiting so convenient! 🌟 The room’s coffee was weak, though, and I wish there were better breakfast options.

The room was spacious and comfy, perfect for family. The location near the Air Force Base was a big win, letting us catch the graduation without much fuss.
But honestly, I expected a bit more than piñata-level breakfast and a broken door lock. I guess I should've brought my own coffee maker as a backup!

The stay had several highlights, including friendly staff and clean rooms, making it a great spot for families. However, I did notice some areas needing improvement, such as limited breakfast options and a slightly inconvenient layout for accessing the amenities. It worked well for our trip overall, but could enhance the experience further.

If you’re craving a chill spot with good vibes and baked goods, their breakfast spread is on point, especially the assorted muffins – a true taste of Texas! Plus, you'll find plenty of local eats nearby, from the tempting tacos at Taqueria Vallarta to late-night bites at Denny's, all just a hop away. Plus, the friendly staff really make you feel at home.
This place could use a little more TLC; the rooms weren’t as clean as they should be. I noticed quite a few homeless folks around the area, but no drama unfolded during our stay – just keep your wits about you, and you'll be fine.
